Why are we here?
Running a business can feel heavy. Some days you’re full of ideas; others you’re overwhelmed, unsure, or just tired. Every founder, every shop owner, every family business knows this feeling.
That’s why we came to South Tyrol — to offer support that’s human, not corporate. Support that listens first, understands, and helps you move forward step by step.
We don’t sell consulting packages or execution services in South Tyrol. Our role is to listen, offer perspective, and help you move forward with clarity.
No selling. No pressure. Just people who care about local entrepreneurs — and want you to succeed.

How it works
Because business is hard — and community matters. We don’t believe advice should be a luxury. We believe in generosity, connection, and supporting the people who keep South Tyrol alive and thriving.
We’re also a community-powered initiative. Alongside our core team, experienced local volunteer advisors contribute their knowledge to support entrepreneurs and strengthen the local business community.
This is our way of giving back.
We usually start with free, informal conversations. This first step is about listening, understanding your business, and clarifying what’s working — and what isn’t. In many cases, this initial discussion alone brings clarity, relief, or a clear next step.
In many situations, we’re also able to offer ongoing support at no cost, thanks to community-supported and independently funded initiatives. Where this isn’t the case, any further involvement is always discussed openly, clearly, and without pressure, on a case-by-case basis.
Your conversations with us are private and pressure-free. There are no contracts, no follow-up selling, and no expectation to continue. One conversation or many — it’s entirely up to you.

Anton Piralkov, Founder and CEO
Apart from mentoring local startups at NOI Techpark in Bolzano, I am — to a large degree — an outsider in South Tyrol. I feel it’s important to be open about that.
I didn’t grow up here. I didn’t inherit a local business. I don’t carry a family name that opens doors by default. South Tyrol is a place with its own rhythm, its own rules, and its own ways of doing things — and those ways deserve respect.
At the same time, I’m here with clean intentions.
I care deeply about this region. I admire its people, its businesses, its sense of continuity and responsibility. And I believe — quietly, without grand claims — that I can contribute something useful. That belief is why I brought Canada Hill Advisors to South Tyrol.
What I bring — and what I don’t
My background is international. I was educated in the U.S., worked across North America and Europe, and spent many years in strategy, operations, finance, and leadership — in startups, family businesses, corporations, and public institutions.
None of that is unique to the U.S., the UK, or Germany. But in South Tyrol, those experiences can be quite complementary. I don’t come here to teach, sell, or impose models. I don’t believe South Tyrol needs to “become something else.” Very often, the most valuable thing is not an answer — it’s clarity.
Working along with South Tyrol — and for its next generation
Importantly, I’m not doing this alone. A small number of exceptional young people from South Tyrol are joining me — some as interns, others as full consultants in training. They bring fresh perspective, strong motivation, and a deep understanding of local culture, language, and business reality.
They already have solid academic foundations and hands-on experience in business and strategy, and they are eager to apply what they know in service of local entrepreneurs, startups, and family businesses. Together, we form mixed teams of local insight + external perspective, experience + curiosity, and continuity + renewal.
One of the ways we serve the region is by offering pro bono strategic conversations and support — guided by me and carried out together with these young local collaborators. At many times, this allows us to help businesses at no cost, while also investing in the next generation of thoughtful, grounded business professionals in South Tyrol.
Let’s talk — over a coffee, a walk, or a call
Sometimes you just need someone to listen. Someone you can talk things through with — openly, calmly, without pressure. If that’s what you’re looking for, we’re here for you. We’re always happy to:
☕ Meet in person — in Bolzano, in Brunico or Merano, or right at your place of business anywhere in South Tyrol.
📞 Talk online — whenever it’s easier for you.
💬 Answer your questions — big or small, anytime.
You’re not alone in what you’re building. We’d be glad to hear from you.
Just email us at south.tyrol@canadahill.ca to request a meeting or a call — or simply share your questions and thoughts.
Canada Hill Advisors is offering a unique internship program for motivated young people in and around South and North Tyrol who want to learn real strategy and business development skills. This is your chance to work directly with our founder, contribute to early projects in the region, and gain the kind of hands-on experience that universities don’t teach. This is not a corporate internship. It’s hands-on, founder-led, and focused on real learning.
What You’ll Work On: Business development research & outreach, supporting strategy projects, preparing insights & recommendations, and possible participation in client conversations.
Who We’re Looking For: Students, graduates, or motivated individuals interested in strategy, business, or local economic development. No significant prior experience required — just curiosity, reliability, and drive.
What You’ll Gain: Real strategy & biz dev skills, direct mentorship from the founder, exposure to real companies, a warm and supportive learning environment, and strong references for future job applications.
Location: Remote, with optional in-person meetings in South and North Tyrol.
